Never under pressure.
I'm Vid — a student engineer building hardware for people who spend their weekends on track. It isn't ready to show yet. Follow along and you'll see it before anyone else.

What PitLess is
An engineering company for people who actually track their cars.
PitLess is an early-stage hardware startup from Slovenia. We're working on one specific problem that track day drivers deal with in every single session — and that most of them have quietly accepted as normal.
The first product is in development. We're not showing it yet, and we're not going to make claims we haven't measured. What we will show is the work: the prototypes, the test rigs, the parts that didn't survive.
Who's building it
Vid Nemec
Student engineer, founder of PitLess. The idea didn't come from a brainstorm — it came from standing in the pit lane with a pressure gauge in my hand, watching my session time disappear.
I design the parts, build the test rigs, run the measurements and post what happens. Some of it works. A lot of it doesn't, yet.
Follow the build
Everything, as it happens
No polished launch film. Just the workshop, the rig, the data and the parts that broke. Most of it goes up on Instagram first.

Workshop and prototypes
Short clips from the bench, in the pit lane, and everywhere in between.

Measuring, not guessing
Every prototype gets logged before it gets an opinion attached to it.

The reveal
The list finds out first — a few days before anyone else does.
The list
See it first
One short email every week or two: what got built, what got measured, what went wrong. No spam, no sales pitch — there's nothing to sell yet. Unsubscribe whenever you like.
You're on the list
Check your inbox — and if it isn't there, have a look in spam and drag it out. First update lands soon.
Questions
Fair enough
What exactly are you building?
Hardware for track day drivers. That's as much as we're saying until the reveal — partly because the design is still changing, partly because we'd rather show it working than describe it.
Can I buy one?
No. Nothing is for sale and there's no price yet. The list is the only way to be told the moment that changes.
Is this a real product or a concept?
Physical prototypes exist and are being tested on a bench rig. Nothing has been validated for production, homologated, or proven over a full season. We'll say clearly which is which as we go.
Will it work with my car?
Too early for an honest answer. Once compatibility is tested rather than assumed, it'll be published.
Who's behind PitLess?
Vid Nemec, a student engineer based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, working with a small group of mentors from motorsport and engineering. Names and partners will be shared once they've agreed to be listed.
What do I get for joining the list?
A short development update every week or two, and the reveal a few days early. That's it — no discount codes, no drip funnel.
Can I test a prototype?
Not yet. A small closed test group will be picked later, from people already on the list. Join it and mention your car.
